Direct String Connection Kit
KACO new energy has established the concept of complementing its solar PV inverters with DC combiners for customized safety and precisely fitting system design. The advantages are convincing, but you would rather do without external DC combiners?
Safety and flexibility
With the Direct String Connection Kit (DSCK) we've got the solution to your wish. The DSCK allows you to connect up to 18 strings directly to the inverter - including positive and negative fusing as inline fuses.
This saves you the installation effort for DC combiners. At the same time, the DSCK allows you to remain flexible: The inverters can be distributed among the module field according to your needs.
Precisely what you need
The DSCK includes the wiring harness with 2 plus and 2 minus connections as well as the required number of inline fuses. For example, if you want to connect 12 strings to the inverter, we will supply you with exactly those 24 fuses that you really need - 12 plus and 12 minus.

The Direct String Connection Kit (DSCK) is an innovative solution for directly connecting PV modules to string inverters in solar PV installations with a decentralized design. The DSCK was used for the first time at the end of 2020 by the Norwegian PV specialist Solenergi FUSen in a new building for the grocery wholesaler ASKO in Sande. 13,000 square meters of PV modules are distributed on the building's roofs, providing a total of 2.2 MWp of solar power as part of ASKO's various environmental measures. The DSCK is installed here together with the XL version of the blueplanet 92.0 TL3 inverter with integrated DC switch.
