KACO new energy GmbH has been active on the Taiwanese solar PV market since the beginning of 2017. On 18 January 2019, the German inverter manufacturer, together with sales partners, project developers, EPCs and participants from the financial world, celebrated the inauguration of its office. It is located in the north-western coastal town of Taoyuan City, from where KACO new energy will intensify customer relations and establish new contacts in the future.
"Clear commitment to the solar PV market in Taiwan"
"The official inauguration is a clear commitment to the solar PV market in Taiwan. We are now offering our customers more support in the areas of sales, marketing, technology, products and service. For technical matters, we have contracted nationwide partners to be able to give local support very quickly," says Michelle Lin, KACO new energy’s COO in Taiwan.
The Taiwanese government greatly supports energy generation through photovoltaics: It has set itself ambitious targets for 2025 and has initiated projects to improve the infrastructure for decentralised energies. Due to the geography of the small island state, however, the equipment for solar PV systems needs to be suitable for roof-mounted and ground-mounted installations alike and at different locations and of varying sizes.
Inverters to match the geography
“KACO new energy's range of inverters meets the requirements in Taiwan. First, customers come to us because of our German manufacturing and the use of components from leading brands in our inverters. In addition, the blueplanet 50.0 TL3 and blueplanet 20.0 TL3 are a duo of string inverters that have already proven their flexibility and reliability worldwide. In the course of the year, the blueplanet 92.0 TL3 will complete the trio, which is suitable for medium and large solar roofs and solar parks," says Stanley Yu, Managing Director of KACO new energy Taiwan.
