Find the right PV monitoring portal for you
At KACO new energy you will find several monitoring portals (including app) to monitor your inverters and solar PV system. We will give you an overview below so that you can quickly decide which one best meets your requirements. blueplanet smartcloud and blueplanet web public are free systems; the costs for the extended functions of blueplanet web pro depend on the size of the plant.
blueplanet smartcloud
The blueplanet smartcloud is the right monitoring portal for you if you want to keep the hybrid inverters of the blueplanet hybrid NH3 series under surveillance as well as the following solar PV inverters: blueplanet 3.0 NX3 - 20.0 NX3, blueplanet 25.0 NX3 - 33.0 NX3, blueplanet 50.0 NX3 / 60.0 NX3. A prerequisite for the blueplanet NX3 is the simultaneous use of the new Connect-GEN2 communication unit. In this way, it is also possible to let inverters that are already in operation be monitored by the blueplanet smartcloud.
KACO new energy has developed the blueplanet smartcloud together with Siemens in order to meet the growing cybersecurity requirements. You can find a demo and register or log in here:

Increased cybersecurity rules from August 1, 2025
With the blueplanet smartcloud and inverters from KACO new energy, you will be able to meet the new cybersecurity requirements for radio equipment
in accordance with the EU's RED Directive. The servers for our monitoring portal are located in Europe and all relevant inverters can be connected to the blueplanet smartcloud.

Our professional monitoring portal offers you detailed and clear system monitoring in a customizable environment. This helps you to minutely track the performance of your PV plant, to react quickly to abnormalities and to secure your investment.

To register your PV system for blueplanet web pro, please proceed as follows: Download the registration form via the following link (even if you initially receive an error message when opening it) and process it offline; afterwards, send the completed PDF by email to service(at)kaco-newenergy.de.

blueplanet web public
Starting January 1, 2026, the blueplanet Web Public user interface will be phased out. To ensure uninterrupted access to your data and services, please register your account in blueplanet smartcloud and begin migrating your data from the old portal starting November 15, 2025.
Discover ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS
If you are using TL3 Inverters or NX3 devices with GEN1 Wi-Fi sticks, you can still register your device in blueplanet Web Public until January 1, 2026.
Please make sure to register your device here in public to enable monitoring and data migration via blueplanet smartcloud after the portal phase-out.

Important notes on blueplanet web registration
- The plant must be registered by the plant owner. After registration to the plant owner, installers can request an additional access for themselves by specifying the plant key (or the plant name) via the email address service(at)kaco-newenergy.de.
- Please note that the blueplanet hybrid 10.0 TL3 cannot be registered in blueplanet web. For this inverter, a separate EMS is required for monitoring and advanced energy management functions.

No matter which version you choose: Our monitoring portals are available "to go" for your mobile device. Once you have successfully registered, you can download the app free of charge and monitor the status of your PV system with your login data, even while on the move.
