On 20 March 2019, the opening ceremony of Wonderland Eurasia took place in Ankara. The Ankapark, as the project was originally called, covers an area of 1.3 million square metres. This makes it Europe's largest theme park.
Visitors encounter another superlative even before they enter the park: with an output of 10.2 megawatts, one of the world's largest solar carport installations provides shady parking. KACO new energy supplied more than 200 blueplanet 50.0 TL3 and Powador 60.0 TL3 string inverters for the project.
The day after the opening ceremony, the inverters were put into operation. Since then, the solar power plant has been feeding into the grid and contributing a record amount of environmentally-friendly solar energy to the power supply of the park.
