KACO new energy is supporting the implementation of a pioneering energy project in Regensburg: The Regensburg Ost Energy Area (ERO) will be powered by our blueplanet 360 NX3 utility platform. The 11 MWp groundmounted solar installation will supply electricity directly via dedicated lines to the companies AUMOVIO, Schaeffler, and our parent company Siemens—each receiving power from the section of the plant allocated to them. The project is operated by the Bürger Energie Region Regensburg eG (BERR) cooperative, which also enabled citizens and company employees to participate as members.
Our contribution: Efficiency, safety, and grid capability at utility scale
As inverter partner, we deliver the blueplanet 360 NX3 to ensure gridsupportive, efficient, and reliable power conversion. The platform is designed for high availability, strong efficiency values, and robust gridsupport functions—all essential when supplying solar power directly and without interruption to industrial consumers.
Our parent company Siemens provides the transformers, enabling seamless integration into industrial infrastructure.
