The blueplanet 360 NX3 combines leading cybersecurity with maximum data sovereignty, excellent efficiency, and particularly late derating—for secure, efficient, and resiliently operated utility PV parks.

The blueplanet 360 NX3 sets new standards for cybersecurity in the utility-scale segment and strengthens the resilience of the European energy supply. As the first utility inverter from a German supplier, it has been consistently developed for maximum security. Together with SIEMENS AG, KACO new energy is constantly expanding the holistic cybersecurity concept of the blueplanet 360 – for the protection of your system. 

A key element: complete data sovereignty. The blueplanet 360 NX3 is not connected to any external cloud, thus reliably protecting systems from unauthorized access. This is supported by ISO 27001-certified processes at KACO new energy, regular penetration tests by “friendly hackers,” and systematic threat and risk analyses. Signed firmware, encrypted Modbus TLS communication, IP whitelists, and USB interfaces that can be deactivated further increase security. The deliberately reduced attack surface—for example, by dispensing with Wi-Fi and mobile communications—also contributes significantly to the robustness of the system. 

In addition to its exceptionally strong cybersecurity, the blueplanet 360 NX3 also impresses with its outstanding technical performance: its excellent output of up to 363 kW and outstanding efficiency of 98.9 percent sustainably increase energy yield, while late derating ensures stable performance even at high ambient temperatures of up to 40°C. Operators thus benefit from maximum yields over the entire operating period. 

With this combination of leading safety, efficiency, and reliability, the blueplanet 360 NX3 presents itself as a forward-looking solution for modern utility-scale PV projects.
