300 MW inverter power for South Korea.

KACO new energy and DNE Solar have signed a framework agreement for the delivery of string inverters.

Neckarsulm, 6. March 2017 – KACO new energy GmbH and South Korean distributor and EPC, DNE Solar Ltd. boost their long-standing partnership with a bulk order: The Germany-based manufacturer will deliver 300 megawatts worth of inverter power to the Asian country.

Signing the contract at KACO new energy’s headquarters in Neckarsulm: David Kim (CEO of DNE Solar Ltd.) and David Mabille (CSO of KACO new energy GmbH).

DNE Solar will order from KACO new energy string inverters exclusively: the lion's share being wall-mounted blueplanet 20.0 TL3 INT and 50.0 TL3 INT inverters as well as the Powador 60.0 TL3 ground-mount unit. They are meant to be mainly installed in commercial roof top systems and multi-megawatt solar parks.

"DNE Solar has established itself firmly in South Korea through its deep commitment to renewable energy and uncompromising attitude towards service and support. I am confident that we will continue on this path with this partnership. With its pioneering inverter technology and German quality heritage, KACO new energy fits well with our customer-oriented approach. There's a huge appreciation of energy independence and versatility of energy sources in South Korea that opens up very good opportunities to develop and shape the solar market", says David Kim, CEO of DNE Solar Ltd.

David Mabille, CSO of KACO new energy, adds, "We are very happy to have secured this deal with DNE Solar. It is the result of KACO new energy's sincere involvement in the South Korean solar market and the long partnership with DNE that has matured over many years. As one of the oldest and most prominent solar PV promoters in South Korea, DNE is deeply rooted in the local solar market.
