The OpenEMS Association was founded in November 2018. The idea behind it: To create a free operating system for the energy industry. On the occasion of its anniversary, the association could look back on a successful first year. One reason for this: The active implementation of the software by its members. Therefore, numerous "OpenEMS Ready" certificates were awarded at the first general meeting.
KACO new energy received the gold award for the blueplanet hybrid 10.0 TL3, the hybrid inverter for small solar+storage systems. Silver awards went to the battery inverter for commercial energy storage, blueplanet gridsave 50.0 TL3-S, and the blueplanet 15.0 TL3 and 20.0 TL3 solar PV inverters.
