KACO sensors
If you want the best information you need the best equipment. KACO offers reliable and accurate temperature and irradiance sensors to pair with your monitoring hardware.
New technologies must be adapted to people and their time, not the other way around. They should serve to improve quality of life and the living environment. This conviction is the source of our passion that drives us to create energy. It is the basis of our vitality and our success.
In 2014 we have celebrated 100 years of KACO and 15 years of KACO new energy: what better incentive could we have to keep dedicating ourselves to an energy source with peaceful purposes and applications – together with you.
In order to satisfy the global demand for our products and solutions we manufacture on three continents. In Germany we manufacture for the European market, in South-Korea for the Asia-Pacific region, and in Texas for North, Central and South America. Contacting our sales teams is just a stone’s throw away: our international subsidiaries are located close to all major PV markets.
Our professional sales partners support you and will be glad to offer individual consultation on our products. The global network guarantees high availability and prompt delivery in your area.
How we put our demands for high quality in research and development, manufacturing, and quality management into action on a world-wide basis.
A selection of several projects all over the globe. Our solar PV inverters come to terms with the most difficult conditions and deliver reliable yields.
KACO new energy suppliers will be integrated into our value chain process as an important partner, who will accompany us along the way to reaching our ambitious aims.
Our solar PV inverters cover a comprehensive output range for PV systems ranging from a single family home to huge solar parks with output in the megawatt range.
Three-phase InvertersImagine perfect grid current – the kind you get from large-scale power plants – but from decentralised renewable sources. The TL3 and TR3 series combine KACO new energy‘s many years of experience in developing inverters with the demand for perfect grid feeding.
Central InvertersExtremely powerful. Extremely flexible. The central inverters of the Powador XP series are the first choice when it comes to usability and return on investment of your utility scale PV plant.
Trouble with the performance of an aging PV system? Re-equip almost any solar installation with an inverter from KACO new energy’s seamless portfolio.
Energy Storage, Home Energy Management or Off-Grid Photovoltaics are only some of the challenges for the future PV market. With our Energy Systems Technology Division we are prepared perfectly.

The PT1000 ambient temperature sensor measures the ambient temperature. The sensor measures the ambient temperature using a PT1000 measuring resistance. Temperatures between –50 and 50°C are converted to voltage values between 0 and 10 V. Click here to view the ambient temperature sensor specification sheet.
The KACO comBINE combiner solution makes PV design with the blueplanet inverters easier and more flexible than ever before. Click here to view the combiner specification sheet.
The solar sensor is used for professional monitoring of a photovoltaic system. The measured irradiance can be used to determine the expected yield of a photovoltaic system, which can then be compared with the actual yield. Click here to view the irradiance sensor specification sheet.
The module temperature sensor is used by professional PV plant operators to know the temperature of the modules installed in the array. The module temperature sensor converts this reading into a voltage signal. This signal is sent back to the monitoring device. This information is then displayed via the proLOG or the blueplanet professional web portal.** Click here to view the module temperature sensor specification sheet.
These devices are specifically designed for use with the KACO proLOG .*
